SPEANBRIDGE

We have three pub/bars and restaurants. One is up at the very small train station and is a great place for food and drinks. Also it's been known for having live music, guitar and even celo playing 'till late. Very good steak and cosey log fires which they have two of. I used to do the dishes there years ago and it has changed hands about three times since I've lived here (about 17yrs).

If you want to catch the train there, you can. You will be able to buy the tickets when you go on the train. It takes about fifteen minutes to get from SpeanBridge to FortWilliam and it doesn't cost mutch. Its just one track and goes from Glasgow to FortWilliam then you can get another one to Malaig ( Mah-laig ) a very nice train journey if you just want to chill and look out the window and take photos. (beutiful honest). I used to go on the Jacobite steam train for a treat with my little boy, he loved it and so did I. Its expensive but worth it I think. I saved up for it because I didn't have the money streight away. even so I would recomend it to anyone.

The only thing I would say about the trains that's not good is that it is expensive to buy things like tea or coffee and also the food is ooooops! I said a bad word sorry! still you can always bring your own food and drink can't you .
